It’s time for some oldies. PJ Shelly brings back those vivid memories of when the boys were digging Doo-Wop, Rock & Roll and Motown down on the corner.
P.J. plays blocks of a few songs by one group with an introduction and explanation. Sprinkled throughout the broadcast are comments about the songs, their origin, their influence and what happened to the artists.
P.J.was there at the very beginning, as he entered adolescence in 1955. Throughout the years, he has kept in touch with the music. There may be people more knowledgeable, but none more passionate.
